Band of Opals

Hello, and welcome to Band of Opals! This website is a collection of scripture, scripture study, and my walk with God and the people He created. I started this in obedience to God and hope to follow Him as closely as I can through all of it. 

I love Jesus! I love Him because He convinced me that He loved me. He’s so good to me and I hope to draw nearer to Him every day.  

I am passionate about the Bible! God’s Holy Word is truly alive and active, and life is so much better when I am in it often.  

I am passionate about prayer! We were meant for the throne room of our Father, and I want to go again and again.  

I am passionate about fellowship! Close, continued, sometimes messy, but Godly friendship. I love to seek God with my brothers and sisters through prayer and study of the Bible. 

I pray that God keeps me close to Him and helps me to continue to value these things, and that He uses my posts and studies to draw you near to Him.
